Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) lets your body absorb far more oxygen than normal breathing allows. Health Canada has warned that unlicensed soft-shell hyperbaric chambers may pose serious health risks, may not be licensed or approved for medical use in Canada, and may lack evidence of safety and effectiveness.
